Leontine “Tine” Thompson brings over 30 years of federal leadership and strategic consulting experience to her role as President of the Board of Directors for Music Therapy for Veterans. A passionate advocate for veteran well-being, she supports MTFV’s mission to deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based healing through music and community connection.

As the Founder and CEO of Elevare Partners Inc., Tine leads a woman- and minority-owned consulting firm dedicated to transforming public and private sector operations through data-driven acquisition strategy, program management, change leadership, and IT modernization. She also serves as a Principal at Deep Water Point & Associates, advising clients on strategy, market intelligence, proposal support, and business development.

During her federal career, Tine led multi-billion-dollar DoD wireless mobility programs, collaborating with federal executives, acquisition professionals, and private industry to reduce costs and modernize enterprise capabilities. She spearheaded major acquisition reform initiatives, generating over $230 million in cost savings across defense and civilian agencies.

Her work has earned numerous accolades, including the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Gears of Government Award, the Acquisition Excellence Award for Strategic Sourcing from the Chief Acquisition Officers Council, and multiple DON IT and Acquisition Excellence Awards recognizing her ability to lead, innovate, and deliver measurable results.

Tine brings a people-centered, mission-driven lens to every leadership role. Through her work with MTFV, she is committed to ensuring that veterans have access to innovative, holistic care rooted in compassion, resilience, and purpose.
