He has managed award-winning artists, booked national comedy acts, and consulted for legends including Floyd Armstrong formerly of the 6 time Grammy-winning group The 5th Dimension.

From launching 8 West Records and producing debut releases to directing stages for acts like Bernie Mac and coordinating showcases with BET comedians, Joel’s influence spans coast to coast. He was also behind the success of the first hip hop act to perform at Caesars Palace and helped secure a “Song of the Year” win at the NC Holy Hip Hop Awards.

Joel is also a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield. The leadership, discipline, and mission-focused mindset he developed while serving continue to guide his work across all industries.
