Lion Leo Williams Jr. was a native of El Centro, California, but was raised in Sacramento, California. His journey in service began with a foundation in engineering at the University of California, Davis (UD). Followed by a fulfilling career as a Civil Engineering Technician with the State of California, Department of Water Resources. In 1992, he relocate to San Diego to take care of his father, embarking on a new chapter of his life and career in real estate.
Throughout his 17 years of dedicated leadership within the Lions community and a chartered member of the San Diego Forever Lions Club, he had the privilege of serving in various capacities, including as Club President, Zone Chairperson, Region Chairperson, District Global Leadership Training Coordinator, Second Vice District Governor and First Vice District Governor of District 4-L6. Each role has afforded him an invaluable opportunity to grow as a leader and to make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. Lion Leo deeply committed to the principles of ethical leadership, professionalism, and innovation, always striving to go the extra mile in pursuit of excellence. He believes wholeheartedly in a three-step process for district growth building a team, establishing a vision, and crafting a plan for success and he is passionate about empowering others to reach their potential.
In addition to his service within the Lions community, he is also a proud husband to his wife Virginia, charter member of the San Diego Forever Lions Club, and a loving father to five children. Their support and encouragement have been a constant source of inspiration throughout his journey.
